Day 15 of Prayer Guide - Health for Your Body

Day Fifteen
Health for Your Body

1 Peter 5:10 And the God of all grace will Himself restore you and make you strong.

Damp coals hang from your arms. They slump your shoulders. Even walking seems difficult today. Its label is nervous energy but why would energy make you tired?

Frail one, come gather health for your body.

Today I Pray for You:

·         To drink from the Vine that sustains and strengthens

·         To take one step toward health today

Today You Pray:

Mighty God, I’m falling into Your place of grace today. This is far more than a health club. It is a sanctuary where my temple is restored by its’ Master Designer.

Your strength arrives as a stream of healing. It gently washes my strain to surface Your reservoir of life within. I am renewed.

  1. What a much needed prayer today Shannon. It is so cold and rainy out that damp does hang from my arms and makes it difficult to do anything, let alone walk. Perfect Prayer for a really crummy day. Thanks!!

  7. Oh, I LOVE that prayer, Shannon. I've been letting my temple go, lately, because of some sadness in my soul, but He has been showing me grace and mercy, new every morning. I love this beautiful prayer.
    Blessings,
    ~Erin

  11. Beautiful prayer! I have been so physically drained lately as I am sick and entering my third trimester of pregnancy. It is so rejuvenating to take a moment in prayer. Even if I can't go out and run a marathon, my soul can always use an energy boost!

  20. Having an autoimmune disease and taking prednisone for four years can zap your physical strength, but it can also give you free reign with renewing your mind. Even in the midst of physical limitations, you can go to that quiet place in your Spirit where you receive strength enough. He is sufficient.

  24. Oh how powerful! I have come to your blog before and I think it has to be one of the most "peaceful" blogs I have ever seen. When I leave, I leave with a sense of purpose and calm. Something I desperately need at times. Thanks for the prayers you post and the gentle reminders to walk with HIM.
Thanks for stopping by the blog too.

  28. I'm a little behind in reading, but this is timely today. I'm not feeling well ~ AT ALL! In fact, as soon as my husband took our son to school, I hopped right back into the bed to rest.
Thank you for your continued prayers, my friend!
